Forty-two students will graduate from the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce Leadership Oshkosh program on September 2, in a ceremony held at Oshkosh Corporation Global Headquarters. Leadership Oshkosh was started in 1989 by the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce to help people in the community grow and develop. This year marks its 31st program year! 1086 people have graduated from the Leadership Oshkosh program.

LEADERSHIP OSHKOSH TRIVIA CONTEST GOES VIRTUAL

As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Leadership Oshkosh class is focused on safety and well being, and limiting the spread of the virus. As a result of the pandemic, the class has moved the Trivia Night fundraiser to a virtual format to ensure the safety of all. This exciting night will help generate much-needed funds for the Day by Day Warming Shelter, which continues to see an increased need as the pandemic lingers. Trivia Night also provides support for the Leadership Oshkosh Foundation, which helps supports our community leaders of the future.

The Virtual Trivia Night will take place on the modified date of September 24, 2020. All teams who have previously registered will get additional information on the event flow, link, etc. If it can safely be done, we encourage teams to be in the same room for participation ease.

The evening will also include a silent auction featuring some great items from our community partners including restaurant vouchers, well being gift baskets and experience tickets.

SmartAsset.com has ranked Oshkosh as the 19th best place for retirees to live and work in the U.S. in their 2020 ranking. 525 cities were compared across a wide variety of metrics including population above 65, unemployment rate for seniors, housing costs as a percentage of retirement income, crime rates, and more.

Ascension Wisconsin has named Monica Hilt, Regional President, Ascension Wisconsin Fox Valley and Stevens Point Hospitals, as their new Chief Operating Officer, effective September 6, 2020. Hilt will lead the continued development of Ascension Wisconsin’s strategic operating plan, with a focus on performance outcomes in quality, experience and overall operating results.

“Monica is an exceptional leader who has already demonstrated her ability to build relationships with our associates, physicians and community partners to positively impact our organization and the communities we’re privileged to serve,” said Bernie Sherry, Senior Vice President, Ascension, Ministry Market Executive, Ascension Wisconsin. “We look forward to having her as a member of the statewide leadership team.”

Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce and Johnson Financial Group's annual competition aims to highlight the state’s manufacturing industry – which employs one in six Wisconsinites – and ultimately determine the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin.

Any product that is manufactured in Wisconsin qualifies for the contest. Nominations will be accepted through September 4 at www.madeinwis.com. Following the nomination period, a popular vote will determine the Top 16 products that will be placed in a bracket-style tournament called Manufacturing Madness.

Three layer surgical type disposable facemasks, boxes of 50, cost $26.00/box.
Five layer KN95 facemasks, boxes of 20, cost $46.00/box.

Prices include sales tax. Minimum quantity per order is one box of either type. Separating masks may lead to contamination so orders smaller than one box are not an option. If you are interested in purchasing, please send an email to [email protected], including your company name, contact name, email address, and the number of boxes of each type you wish to order.
