One of the ways we advocate for our local business community is through our annual Washington, DC, fly-in event, which took place last week!
This exclusive initiative allowed members of the Oshkosh Chamber to engage directly with policymakers and influential stakeholders in our nation's capital. During the event, a delegation of business leaders from Oshkosh traveled to Washington for a series of important meetings, briefings, and networking sessions, all aimed at promoting policies that drive economic growth and strengthen our local businesses.
Our team also met with our local congressional delegation to push for public policy changes that create a more favorable business environment for Oshkosh and the broader region. Some of the groups and individuals the team met with included:
- U.S. Chamber of Commerce
- Heritage Foundation
- Legislative Leadership - U.S. Chamber of Commerce
- Senator Ron Johnson
- Senator Tammy Baldwin
- Congressman Scott Fitzgerald - 5th District
- Congressman Glenn Grothman - 6th District
- Congressman Thomas Tiffany - 7th District
This fly-in event was a unique opportunity for our members to make their voices heard on a national stage, advocating for a brighter economic future for our community. | | |
