| Each year the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce surveys business leaders in the area to gage confidence levels throughout the business community. This year, despite the ongoing labor and supply chain challenges, there is an immense amount of optimism.

| The Ray H. Fuller, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Wisconsin Chapter 17 in Oshkosh and Winnebago County will be hosting a fund-raising event entitled “Operation: Cabin Fever 3”. This event will take place at the Oshkosh Convention Center in Oshkosh, on Saturday, March 25, 2023. The mission of the Disabled American Veterans is to empower veterans to lead high quality lives with dignity and respect. DAV is a non-profit 501 (c) (4) organization that is dedicated to the service of our injured veterans. The “Operation: Cabin Fever 3” goal is to raise funds that would specifically go toward local Veterans enhancing their mental health due to participation in therapeutic recreation programs. | | | |

We are again partnering with chamber member NovoPrint USA, Inc. to produce the map, which will be updated to reflect our growth and showcase our community. | ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT UPDATES | | |
- The Oshkosh Chamber is assisting several local manufacturers on expansion and site redevelopment plans
- The Oshkosh Chamber is assisting several local startups and businesses with financing options and relocation assistance
- Wittman Regional Airport will be constructing 20 new T-Hanger units, with construction beginning in Spring 2023. See Business Brief section for press release on this project.
- The ThedaCare / Froedert Micro Hospital project on the former Jeld-Wen site has been delayed and pushed to a July 1st construction start date. The Micro Hospital is to have 75-125 employees with 12 beds.
- Sweet Jules Bakery is officially open for business at 9 Church Avenue.
- Water City Pub to open in old Screwballs location at 216 N Main Street

| Rob Kleman is the President & CEO for the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce assuming that role on January 1, 2023. Prior to this role, Kleman was the Chamber’s Senior Vice President of Economic Development where he led all facets of its economic development program since 1991. He is currently responsible for the overall management of the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce operations including all Chamber services and programming, sales, marketing, community relations, legislative and government relations, and economic development.
