That still rings true, but in today’s world technology is becoming ubiquitous in just about every industry, from food service to manufacturing, from financial institutions to non-profit organizations. Companies are automating everything from the sales process, the marketing functions, their operations, their supply chain functions and many other business processes. In this session, we will review some automation solutions that minimize or eliminate the need for an actual worker to perform the function along with some examples of success. Automation is not used to “eliminate workers”, that is a fallacy that I cannot believe still exists today. We will review the main reasons to automate and how to get started. Presenter: Joe Girard, Senior Business Developer, Wipfli LLP This event will be presented using Zoom. | | | | |

| Fast paced change creates conflict that can disrupt the routines businesses rely on to produce predictable results. Individuals viewing the same information in different ways can create turmoil, making it difficult to stay focused on the business. This commotion can impact customer experiences, company operations and talent retention. Remote work conditions only heighten this challenge. Conflict is inevitable in any environment, but chaos can be avoided. This briefing will provide leaders with skills to constructively deal with conflict. Participants will come to understand the value conflict brings while recognizing and reducing the disruption it can create. Leaders can expect to come away with skills they can immediately employ to foster performance by harnessing the conflict in a changing landscape. | | | | |
