The purpose of the Oshkosh Chamber Ambassadors is to serve the Chamber as outreach persons and Good Will Ambassadors for the Oshkosh Chamber. The Ambassadors shall serve as a volunteer group working on a year-round basis to promote the activities and benefits of the Oshkosh Chamber and to advance the mission of the Oshkosh Chamber.
Membership in the Oshkosh Chamber Ambassadors is by invitation. Prospective members may express interest before an invitation or may be recommended by a member of the Ambassadors. Ambassador candidates must be Chamber members for a minimum of six months, (employees of a Chamber member must also be involved in the Chamber for a minimum of six months) or retirees of Chamber members in good standing. Ambassador candidates must be willing to learn about and promote the Oshkosh Chamber.
Chamber Ambassadors help coordinate and assist the Chamber activities including Ribbon cuttings, Grand Openings, Business After Hours, Ground Breakings, EAA Fly-In, Chamber Golf Outings, delivering plaques to new chamber members, and visiting and touring chamber members to learn more about Oshkosh businesses.
