Improving quality of life. Community development is extremely important to the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce. Community development projects, ranging from creation of the Leach Amphitheater and Pollock Community Water Park to expansion of the Wisconsin Street Bridge and other transportation projects all contribute to the community’s quality of life.

Each year, the Oshkosh Chamber, Oshkosh Area Economic Development Corp., City of Oshkosh and Chamco release a Progress Report to the city. The report outlines the accomplishments of the previous year, as well as projects planned for the current year.

The Oshkosh Chamber has been a proponent of these projects for many reasons. In some cases, they attract visitors to our city. The projects also make the city more attractive to those who are looking to relocate here. In the case of transportation projects, they contribute to easier access in and around our city, enhancing the business climate.
