Responding to a complaint of discrimination filed with the Department of Workforce Development, Equal Rights Division includes several important stages, all of which are integral in successfully addressing the complaint. Ann Barry Hanneman and Jim Macy will address how to effectively defend the allegations in the investigative stage of the process with a goal to achieving a determination of No Probable Cause. If the matter progresses to hearing, Ann and Jim will also address participation in mediation, how to address discovery, what key documents must be filed, how to litigate a case at hearing, and how to prepare an effective post hearing brief.
